Terms of Service
Please review the following terms before using Guesthouse Marusho (hereinafter 'the Facility'). By making a reservation, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms.
1. Accommodation Agreement
The Facility operates under the Hotel Business Act of Japan. Guests are required by law to register their information on the guest registry. Foreign nationals are required to present their passport.
2. Check-in / Check-out
Check-in is from 15:00, check-out by 10:00. For arrivals after 20:00, please contact us by phone in advance. Staff may be absent when no guests are present. Please always call ahead.
3. Payment
Payment is cash only, paid upon arrival. Credit cards and electronic payments are not accepted.
4. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fees: Normal period: 30% from 5 days before, 50% from 2 days before, 100% for day before/day of/no-show. Peak seasons (GW, Obon, New Year) and group rentals: 50% from 7 days before, 70% from 5 days before, 100% from 3 days before. Exceptions for natural disasters and accidents.
5. Prohibited Actions
All rooms are non-smoking. Nuisance behavior, intentional damage to facilities, unauthorized use of fire, and possession/use of illegal substances are strictly prohibited. Violators may be asked to leave.
6. Pet Policy
Pets are welcome (additional ¥2,000/night). Pet owners are responsible for their pets' behavior. Please be considerate of other guests.
7. Disclaimer
The Facility is not liable for accidents, theft, or loss due to guests' negligence. Please manage your valuables yourself.
